Upon starting Lost Penguin, you will control the default penguin character on your home platform, surrounded by family. As you navigate the game, you'll collect fish that contribute to your score, affecting your rank on global leaderboards and unlocking achievements. A competitive environment awaits as players vie for the number one spot.

Once you hit play, your penguin will instinctively begin moving away from home towards an ever-extending icy platform. As you traverse this pathway, you'll notice blocks falling away behind you until your home fades from sight. The journey continues indefinitely along a randomly generated path—a challenge that requires adept navigation to avoid plunging into the water below. As gameplay progresses, expect increasing speed that demands quick reflexes.

Additionally, players can choose from varied penguin characters within Lost Penguin. By pressing the Swap button, you can either watch an ad for a temporary boost or purchase permanent access to this feature—be on the lookout for special winged fish that unlock these opportunities but exercise patience as they only appear in deeper waters.

The fate of your family and friends lies in your flippers as you traverse vast oceans in search of a new home. Moreover, you can collect food along the way for countless other penguins. In this journey, remember: every little fish counts!
